We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Assistant Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the construction projects and ensure they progress on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is an expert in building methods and has a proven track record of successful construction management projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist Manage all aspects of the construction project
- Assist with Coordination with other construction professionals to determine the specifications of the project
- Assist with Negotiate contracts with external vendors and suppliers
- Assist with Securing necessary permits and licenses
- Schedule key deliverables and milestones and ensure progress is being made
- Assist with Estimate costs and keep the project within budget
- Coordinate subcontractors and outside contractors
- Report on progress
- Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may arise
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in leadership role
- Project management certification is preferred
- Deep understanding of construction management methods and processes
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codes preferred
- Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills
- Strong with Microsoft Excel and construction management software
